The Church in the Parish of Dalgety is in the centre of the new town of Dalgety Bay. Located to the south east of Dunfermline on the north shore of the Forth across from Edinburgh and near to the road and rail bridges. The Parish (local area served) is around 5k east to west between Inverkeithing and Aberdour; and 10k north to south from Crossgates to the coast. Included with the main town of Dalgety Bay are the villages of Fordell and Hillend. It is because of this extended Parish area that the church is known as Dalgety Church, and not Dalgety Bay Church.
